And with all the images on TV and a once-a-year trip to DC or NYC - Rochester can look a little sleepy. But I agree with you. If they really got out and tried some other place, they would see. I bump into people who don't like Rochester, and they ask my why I'm "stuck here." Then I tell them that I left for 15 years and decided to come back. I list off all the qualities of this mid-sized city and start to tell them why Rochester is superior to many other mid-sized cities. If you spend some time talking with people here youll find out they left rochester and ended up back here beacuse they just liked it better.
